Dr. Sweta Verma: Driving Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Academic Excellence Across Industries
Dr. Sweta Verma is a seasoned academician, entrepreneur, and innovation leader with over 28 years of diverse experience spanning academic institutions, renewable energy, healthcare innovation, and the startup ecosystem. Holding B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering, she brings a strong foundation in research, technology, and strategic leadership.
Dr. Verma has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial acumen by founding and leading multiple ventures. She began her industry journey with NRR Power Solution Pvt. Ltd., where she served as Director from 2013 to 2022, contributing significantly to the renewable energy sector. Currently, she is the driving force behind Awigi LLP and Kampus Katallyst Consulting, where she continues to foster innovation, mentorship, and business transformation.
Her contributions have been widely recognized through numerous prestigious awards and honors, including the Best Women Entrepreneur Award (2018), Best Project Award (2018), Women Excellence Award (2025), and Global Achievers of India Award – Certificate of Honour (2025). She was also named Young Entrepreneur Innovator of the Year (2026) and featured among “India’s 15 Inspiring Entrepreneurs to Look Out for in 2026” by Mid-Day.
