Ritwika Marar’s career journey is a testament to the power of following one’s passion and embracing change. With a strong educational background, she embarked on her professional life in the corporate world but later found her true calling in the field of Training and Development.
Ritwika holds an impressive educational background, including a 5-year integrated MBA in marketing and finance from Devi Ahilya University in Indore. She also pursued a Master Diploma in Train the Trainer from IATD Mumbai and became a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Additionally, she equipped herself with skills in Parenting Coaching and Career Counseling, allowing her to diversify her expertise.
Coming from Bhilai, Chattisgarh, Ritwika had a solid foundation in a family that values national integration. Her upbringing and education at Delhi Public School, Bhilai, shaped her into the person she is today. She began her professional life at ICICI Lombard in Mumbai and subsequently worked with HSBC and Jasper Infotech before joining State Bank Group as a Probationary Officer in 2010.
After working as a Deputy Manager at State Bank, Ritwika felt a sense of incompleteness and a desire to find her true purpose. This inner calling led her to take a bold decision to leave her secured job behind and delve into the world of Training and Development
In 2018, Ritwika decided to pursue her passion for training and teaching, inspired by her parents who were also in the teaching profession. This career shift opened up new doors for her, allowing her to engage in activities she truly loved, such as public speaking, transforming lives, and continuous learning.
Ritwika has faced personal and professional challenges along her journey. The loss of her mother during her first year of graduation and the subsequent loss of her father in 2020 brought emotional hardship. Professionally, transitioning to a freelancer meant dealing with irregular income and investing heavily in self-improvement. Yet, she persevered and made significant progress.
As a woman and an entrepreneur, maintaining a balance between work and family has been a major challenge for Ritwika. However, she has managed to find a way to prioritize her work while ensuring quality time with her daughter.
Ritwika’s achievements are noteworthy. She is the author of two books, “Life: A Beautiful Journey” and “Parenting by Millennials,” both available on Amazon. Additionally, she has been a co-author in various anthologies. Her talent in poetry has been recognized with awards in prestigious competitions. Moreover, she has successfully conducted training sessions for diverse audiences, ranging from professionals to homemakers.
Currently, Ritwika is empaneled with CADD Centre as faculty for their Train the Trainer program and serves as a visiting faculty at IBS Gurgaon. Alongside these roles, she has established her own venture, Reeti Solutions, in the domain of training and development. Her clientele includes CAs, bankers, teachers, college students, homemakers, and working professionals across industries.
