Born in Solapur and now based in Pune, Altaf Dadasaheb Shaikh has carved a unique space for himself as a celebrated writer, director, and music composer in both Marathi and Hindi cinema.
With Karmayogi Abasaheb, Shaikh brings to life the inspiring journey of late Ganpatrao “Abasaheb” Deshmukh, the revered leader of the Peasants and Workers Party, a longtime MLA, and a former minister who championed the cause of farmers and workers.
